Brokerage Platform Development
A brokerage platform is the operating system of a broker's business: client registration and verification, accounts, deposits and withdrawals, transaction accounting, commissions, partner payouts and an administrative back office. We build these platforms around a specific business model instead of bending an off-the-shelf product to fit someone else's logic.
What it solves
- Take a client from sign-up to first trade without manual steps from your staff.
- Consolidate transactions, commissions and liabilities in one place instead of spreadsheets and exports.
- Make the commission model manageable: tariff plans, discounts, rebates and IB payouts are configured, not re-coded.
- Give support and back office tools that show the full state of a client account.
- Guarantee traceability: every change to an account, tariff or access right is recorded and explainable.
What the solution includes
Onboarding and verification
Registration, questionnaires, document upload, KYC/AML provider integration, verification statuses and periodic re-screening.
Accounts and transactions
Account and sub-account opening, deposits and withdrawals, internal transfers, transaction history and statements.
Commissions and tariffs
Tariff plans, tiered commissions, volume discounts, rebates, automatic calculation and posting.
Administrative back office
Management of clients, requests, documents, limits and permissions; staff roles and a full action log.
Partner and IB programmes
Referral links, multi-level reward schemes, a partner portal and acquisition reporting.
Reporting
Client statements, management reporting, reconciliation with venues and exports for the finance team.
Architecture and technical requirements
- Funds accounting
- Double-entry ledger and an immutable transaction journal: a balance is always derived from history, never stored as a standalone number.
- Idempotency
- Payment and trading operations are protected against duplicates on retries and network failures.
- Access control
- Role-based model, data visibility scoping and a mandatory audit log of staff actions.
- Environments
- Separate development, staging and production circuits; CI-driven releases with a rollback path.
- Data protection
- Encryption of personal data and documents, controlled key storage, retention and deletion policies.
Typical integrations
- Payment providers, card acquiring and crypto payments
- KYC/AML and document verification providers
- Exchanges, brokers and liquidity providers
- CRM, telephony and ticketing systems
- Email, SMS and messenger channels for notifications
- Accounting and general ledger systems

Frequently asked questions
Do you deliver white label or a proprietary platform?
We build the client's own platform. White label is faster at launch but locks your business model into vendor logic and vendor pricing. Firms choose a proprietary platform when they need non-standard tariffs, their own partner schemes or expect volume growth.
Can clients be migrated from an existing platform?
Yes. Migration is a separate stage: data export and reconciliation, transfer of accounts and transaction history, parallel operation of both systems during cutover and a rollback plan.
How do you handle regulatory requirements?
We implement the technical requirements that you or your counsel define for your jurisdiction: data residency, reporting, audit logs and document retention periods. We do not provide legal advice or licensing services.
How much does this kind of development cost?
A full brokerage platform is a project of several months of team work. A precise estimate follows discovery: it depends on the number of integrations, payment channels and the complexity of the commission model. We give a preliminary budget range on the first call.
